I have always loved the mythology of the King Arthur stories,
especial from the book of The Mists of Avalon. This painting is about
one of the characters in the story, she was an enchantress. She holds
the grail in her hands, the grail is the truth of life and the key
to
inner happiness and the mysteries of the world. The castle in the sky
represent what dreams are possible when we find our inner truth. The
star is our guiding light of hope. The dragon represent our physical
plane - earth
